Run the \/resetnavpane command<\/h3>\n<p>The navigation pane is the leftmost pane in Outlook where you&#8217;ll find your folder list and the icons to move between Mail, Calendar, People, and Tasks. Running the \/resetnavpanecommand removes all customizations to the navigation pane.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Close Outlook.<\/li>\n<li>Choose Start &gt; Run.<\/li>\n<li>In the Open box, type Outlook.exe \/resetnavpane, and then choose OK.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-882\" src=\"https:\/\/msb365.abstergo.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/2-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"206\" srcset=\"https:\/\/msb365.abstergo.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/2-1.png 399w, https:\/\/msb365.abstergo.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/2-1-300x155.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 399px) 100vw, 399px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>2. Create a new Outlook profile<\/h3>\n<p>Your profile contains your Outlook settings. Occasionally, that profile can become corrupted. You can determine if it&#8217;s corrupt by creating a new profile and changing which profile is used when Outlook starts.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To open the Control Panel, do one of the following:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*For Windows Vista or Windows 7, choose Start &gt; Control Panel.<\/p>\n<p>*For Windows 8 and Windows 10, choose Start, and then type Control Panel.<\/p>\n<p>Note: For Windows 10, in Control Panel, make sure the View by box in the upper-right corner is set to Category.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Choose Mail.<\/li>\n<li>In the Mail Setup &#8211; Outlook dialog box, choose Show Profiles &gt; Add.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-883\" src=\"https:\/\/msb365.abstergo.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/3-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"343\" height=\"404\" srcset=\"https:\/\/msb365.abstergo.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/3-1.png 343w, https:\/\/msb365.abstergo.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/3-1-255x300.png 255w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 343px) 100vw, 343px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the Profile Name box, type the name you want to use for your new profile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-884\" src=\"https:\/\/msb365.abstergo.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/4-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"294\" height=\"117\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On the Auto Account Setup page for the Add Account Wizard, under E-mail Account, fill in Your Name, E-mail Address, and Password, and then choose Next.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-885\" src=\"https:\/\/msb365.abstergo.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/5-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"678\" height=\"481\" srcset=\"https:\/\/msb365.abstergo.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/5-1.png 678w, https:\/\/msb365.abstergo.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/5-1-600x426.png 600w, https:\/\/msb365.abstergo.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/5-1-300x213.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 678px) 100vw, 678px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Note:<\/strong> The Add Account Wizard automatically searches for your mail server settings.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Choose Finish and you&#8217;ll find the new profile name you added listed on the General tab in the Mail dialog box.<\/li>\n<li>Under When starting Microsoft Outlook, use this profile, choose Prompt for a profile to be used, and then choose OK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Use a different profil<\/strong><strong>e<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Restart Outlook<\/li>\n<li>In the drop-down list in the Choose Profile dialog box, choose the new profile name you created.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-886\" src=\"https:\/\/msb365.abstergo.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"335\" height=\"154\" srcset=\"https:\/\/msb365.abstergo.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/6.png 335w, https:\/\/msb365.abstergo.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/6-300x138.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 335px) 100vw, 335px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Choose OK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Note:<\/strong> If Outlook starts normally, then you&#8217;ve identified your Outlook profile as being corrupt and the source of your problem.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Should you decide to remove a profile, back up the data files first. All offline cached content will be deleted when you choose Remove. For more information, see Introduction to Outlook Data Files (.pst and .ost).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This are just two ways how to fix the isue.
